At Tiddlywinks the children’s individual needs and interests are at the forefront in the planning of daily activities and also when planning the next steps for each individual child. The Key person plans and observes the children following The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidance. The EYFS consists of 7 areas of learning and development, which are separated into two parts: 3 Prime areas consisting of Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development and Communication and Language. The 4 Specific areas are Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design. All of the areas are important and are interlinked, through the planning and activities.
